Resumo: | In the last decade (2010-2020) new political leaders have applied for public office, converting visibility and legitimacy in digital social media (social networks) to political representation. This research is dedicated to the study of the interaction between digital political leaders and their followers, verifying the dynamics of political representation in contexts where these leaders assume elective positions. From data mining, the cases of Kim Kataguiri and Joyce Hasselmann (Brazil) and Samuel Garcia (Mexico) were studied. The partial results show that these leaders maintain the anti-system discourse and strong political personalism in the spaces of political representation and discuss this new type of political representative in the troubled context of the intensification of the representation crisis and the increase in the population connected to digital social media. |
