Resumo: | The study comparatively analyzes how the four legislative assemblies in the Southeast region of Brazil use the institutional profiles of Twitter. The methodology followed three stages: 1) automated collection of posts of each profile from its creation until November 2019, 2) automatized content analysis of posts, using the software Iramuteq; 3) comparative quantitative analysis of interactions. It is concluded that the institutional use of profiles, despite some specificities, focuses on the dissemination of parliamentary activities to achieve levels of information, understanding and identification, within the concept of political engagement of citizens and parliament. |
