Resumo: The present clinical case aimed to treat hematoma and ecchymosis after an aesthetic procedure through the association of photobiomodulation and antioxidant agent. The importance of proper management is due to the fact that the presence of the condition causes psychological stress, and may also be the triggering factor for post-inflammatory periocular hyperpigmentation. Case details: Female patient, 48 years old, with congenital liver disorders, presented ecchymosis and bruises after injectable procedure using biostimulators. The clinical conduct was to submit her to photobiomodulation through the use of yellow light emitted by LED diode at 590 nm associated with infrared laser at 808 nm simultaneously in continuous and pulsed regime, along with the use of topical and systemic antioxidants to treat the bloody connection and clearing of the affected area. Conclusion: Photobiomodulation and antioxidants were effective in resolving ecchymosis and hematoma, without progressing to post-inflammatory periocular hyperpigmentation.

Conclusion: Photobiomodulation and antioxidants were effective in resolving ecchymosis and hematoma, without progressing to post-inflammatory periocular hyperpigmentation. Profa. Dra.
