Resumo: | The interest regarding the humanitarian operations has been increasing in recent years, mainly due to the increasing number of disasters occurred. However, there are only few studies investigating this issue from the perspective of Operations Management. Thus, this research aimed to explore the humanitarian studies related to operations, identifying the journals and authors with the highest number of publications and the main keywords used in the field of Business, Management and Accounting. Therefore, it was used a bibliometric study in the Scopus database. Among the main results, it was found that most of the studies on the subject is from developed countries, involving 57 journals and 160 researchers from 19 countries. Regarding the most used keywords, it was possible to realize the growing importance of logistics and planning for relief operations. In addition, it was possible to identify the lack of studies considering the motivation for volunteering. |
