Resumo: The article raises the relationship between digital fashion design and the consumption of the fashion product. Through a descriptive and qualitative research sought to understand the current scenario of fashion consumption, how this scenario promotes the development of digital fashion design and finally how the latter can guide to an ethically responsible consumption in fashion. As well as, through case examples, demonstrate how the digitalization of fashion processes has been happening for some time and how these present ways to address the harmful effects caused to the environment.

A través de una investigación descriptiva y cualitativa se buscó entender el escenario actual del consumo de moda, cómo este escenario proporciona el desarrollo del diseño de moda digital y, finalmente, cómo este último puede orientar. a un consumo éticamente responsable en la moda. Así como, a través de ejemplos de casos, demostrar cómo la digitalización de los procesos de la moda se produce desde hace algún tiempo y cómo estos presentan formas de abordar los efectos nocivos causados al medio ambiente.O artigo levanta a relação entre o design de moda digital e o consumo do produto de moda. Através de uma investigação descritiva e qualitativa buscou-se compreender o atual cenário de consumo de moda, como este cenário propicia o desenvolvimento do design de moda digital e por fim como este último pode orientar para um consumo eticamente responsável na moda.
