Resumo: Many people coexist with motor limitations, that prevent the full realization ofdaily activities such as feeding. The Universal Design and Assistive Technology, aimed at safe interaction between the individual and his meal, by means of adapted cutlery. Cutlery materials affect the perception of food by chemical, physical and mechanical interactions. This article aimed to select materials for adapted cutlery, prioritizing the autonomy of people with disabilities. The methodological procedures are the application of GODP criteria and Ashby Method. Ultimately, were selected, the low-alloy steel for the cutlery and PA 12 for the handle.

Universidade Anhambi Murumbi2017-12-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://datjournal.anhembi.br/dat/article/view/5910.29147/2526-1789.DAT.2017v2i2p108-121DAT Journal; Vol. 2 No. 2 (2017): NEW EXPERIMENTS: FROM THE INNATE MATERIALS TO THEM TO INDUSTRY 4.0DAT Journal; Vol. 2 Núm. 2 (2017): NUEVOS EXPERIMENTOS: DE LOS MATERIALES INNATOS A ELLOS A LA INDUSTRIA 4.0DAT Journal; v. 2 n. 2 (2017): Novas Experiências: dos materiais naturais aos materiais para a indústria 4.02526-178910.29147/dat.v2i2reponame:DATJournalinstname:Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (ANHEMBI)instacron:ANHEMBIporhttps://datjournal.anhembi.br/dat/article/view/59/56Moraes, GrazielaLima, LarissaMerino, GiselleMerino, Eugenioinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2020-06-09T13:46:06Zoai:ojs.datjournal.anhembi.br:article/59Revistahttps://datjournal.anhembi.br/datPUBhttps://datjournal.anhembi.br/dat/oai||ppgdesign@anhembi.br2526-17892526-1789opendoar:2020-06-09T13:46:06DATJournal - Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (ANHEMBI)false
