Unpredictability in live audiviovisual practices

Resumo: | The audiovisual performances in real time, are characterized primarily by non-linear narrative construction, in which the artist composes the work during his own event. It is a fact where both the data and the performance are decisive for the final result, an artist-device-viewer symbiosis occurs in which unpredictability and chance allow novel correlations. For this presentation we will discuss the non-linear narrative process in the practice of audiovisual in real time, making it possible to understand this (audiovisual) system as a set of components in a state of interaction. We will also present the system as an agglomeration of independent parts, discussing its formation from the understanding of the concept of codes, media and rhythms in this type of practice. To explain the information, we will present Clássicos de Calçada, showing in galleries and specifics places for those kinds of works, and so remotely by the web. |

Es un hecho donde tanto los datos como la actuación son determinantes para el resultado final, ocurriendo una simbiosis artista-dispositivo-publico y con eso, la imprevisibilidad y el azar, resultan novedosas correlaciones. Para la presente ponencia discutiremos lo técnico y lo creativo en la práctica del audiovisual en tiempo real, posibilitando la comprensión de este sistema como un conjunto de componentes en estado de interacción. Presentaremos también el sistema como un conjunto de partes independientes, discutiendo su formación a partir de la comprensión del concepto de códigos, medios y ritmos en este tipo de práctica, así como el papel del público en estos eventos. Para aclarar las informaciones, traemos como estudio de caso la experiencia del dúo Clássicos de Calçada y sus performances presentadas en espacios de exposición, así como de modo remoto por la web.As performances audiovisuais em tempo real se caracterizam primordialmente pela construção narrativa não linear, onde o artista compõe a obra durante sua apresentação. Numa ação onde tanto os dados quanto a atuação são determinantes para o resultado final, através da integração entre artista- dispositivo-público e com isso a imprevisibilidade e o azar, resultam correlações únicas. Para o presente artigo discutiremos o processo técnico e criativo da prática de performance audiovisual em tempo real, possibilitando a compreensão do sistema como componentes em estado de interação, resultado de um conjunto de partes independentes, discutiremos sua formação a partir do conceito de códigos, meios e ritmos neste tipo de prática, assim como o papel do público.
