Resumo: This article presents the result of Scientific Initiation research carried out within the scope of the Graphic Design course, in partnership with the Postgraduate Program in Design, at Anhembi Morumbi University. The study took place between November 2021 and October 2022, and its goal was to ask if a genre such as an internet meme has the artistic potential to be included as a type of manifestation within the scope of digital literature. For this, we will study the Brazilian Instagram profile, Greengo Dictionary, which uses images with texts to translate Portuguese expressions into English. We will then classify posts made by the page and observe their visual identity to analyze the profile. Finally, we will demonstrate that despite the apparent randomness of themes and styles, Greengo Dictionary evokes the author's style through vernacular creativity and collaborative multiplicity.

El estudio se desarrolló entre noviembre de 2021 y octubre de 2022 y su objetivo era reflexionar sobre si un género tan común en internet, como es el meme, tiene potencial artístico para ser incluido como un tipo de manifestación dentro del ámbito de la literatura digital. Para ello, tomaremos como caso de estudio el perfil brasileño de Instagram, Greengo Dictionary, que utiliza imágenes y textos cuyos significados, muy brasileños, se traducen al inglés de manera irreverente y humorística. Luego clasificaremos las publicaciones realizadas por la página y observaremos su identidad visual para analizar el perfil. Finalmente, demostraremos que, a pesar de la aparente aleatoriedad de temas y estilos, existe un plan que configura el “modo de ser Greengo”, en una lejana evocación del estilo del autor, a través de la creatividad vernácula y la multiplicidad colaborativa.Este artigo apresenta o resultado de uma pesquisa de Iniciação Científica realizada no âmbito do curso de Design Gráfico, em parceria com o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Design, da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. O estudo deu-se entre novembro de 2021 e outubro de 2022 e seu objetivo foi o de refletir se um gênero tão comum na internet, como o meme, tem a potencialidade artística para ser incluído como um tipo de manifestação no âmbito da literatura digital. Para isso, iremos tomar como estudo de caso o perfil brasileiro do Instagram, Greengo Dictionary, que utiliza imagens e textos cujos sentidos, bem brasileiros, são traduzidos para o inglês de maneira irreverente e bem-humorada. Classificaremos, então, posts realizados pela página e observaremos sua identidade visual para analisarmos o perfil.
