Resumo: | This article presents a study of the visualities and visibilities of black women in the scenography of the Recife’s Carnival in the year 2006. Based on a literature review, it seeks to study the structural relationships of these regimes and examine aesthetics and representation as instruments of power using semiotic analysis as a tool to discuss the meanings of the images studied, in addition to verifying whether these modes of representation produce identification in these women. |

A partir de una revisión bibliográfica, busca estudiar las relaciones estructurales de estos regímenes y examinar la estética y la representación como instrumentos de poder utilizando el análisis semiótico como herramienta para discutir los sentidos de estas imágenes, además de verificar si estos modos de representación producen identificación en estas mujeres.Este artigo apresenta um estudo das visualidades e visibilidades das mulheres negras na cenografia do carnaval do Recife no ano 2006.
