Resumo: This essay intends to analyze the text “The poem in the test tube” – “O poema no tubo de ensaio” – (2016), by Marília Garcia, from the concepts of repetition and escape proposed by Gilles Deleuze in Difference and Repetition (1968), in order p. 79). It considers that the essay-poem, by defining itself as a test of itself, of its reader, and of its own author, in addition to repeatedly testing the condition of being either a poem or an essay, escapes the univocal gender categorization and brings this answer in its own configuration.

Se considera que el ensayo-poema, al definirse como prueba de sí mismo, de su lector y de su propio autor, además de ensayar reiteradamente la condición de ser poema o ensayo, escapa a la categorización unívoca de género y trae esta respuesta en su propia configuración.Este ensaio pretende analisar o texto “O poema no tubo de ensaio”(2016), de Marília Garcia, a partir dos conceitos de repetição e fuga propostos por Gilles Deleuze em Diferença e repetição (1968), a fim de responder a pergunta em verso: “Será que esse teste poderia ser um ensaio?” (GARCIA, 2016, p. 79).
