Resumo: This article analyses the theme of death in Hilda Hilst’s book of poems Of Death. Minimal Odes, based on the notion that there is an aspect of living in death and that we are the ones who, in different manners, die death. The critical-analytical trajectory in this article is divided into three moments: first, that of a (re)naming of death; second, that of a calling to death with one’s body, whose background the classical topic of death and the maiden; third, that of a turning of the mirror that is interposed between the woman-poet and death.

Odes mínimas, de Hilda Hilst, partiéndose de la noción de que hay una vivencia en la muerte, y que somos nosotros los que, de diferentes maneras, murrimos la muerte. El recorrido crítico-analítico de este ensayo está dividido en tres momentos: primero, el de un (re)nombramiento de la muerte; segundo, el de um llamado a la muerte con el cuerpo, teniendo como fondo el clásico tópico de la muerte y la doncella; y el tercero, el de un giro en el espejo que se interpone entre la mujer-poeta y la muerte.Este artigo analisa o tema da morte no livro de poemas Da morte. Odes mínimas, de Hilda Hilst, a partir da noção de que há uma vivência na morte e que somos nós que, de diferentes maneiras, morremos a morte.
