Resumo: The objective of this paper is to investigate the similarities in some of the practices of the poet Carlito Azevedo and others, of the filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard. Taking as a guideline the studies of intertextuality and citacionality undertaken by theorists such as Antoine Compagnon, we draw three brief profiles, implicated in the operations of the chosen authors and tried to relate one of Azevedo’s book to one of Godard’s films, trying to infer a reading that approximates the assembly of a book to that of a film.

Embasándonos en los estudios de la intertextualidad y la citacionalidad de teóricos como Antoine Compagnon, dibujamos tres breves perfiles de lectura, que se encuentran en las citaciones de los autores: uno que represente tipo específico de lector; uno para la figura del editor de cine; y outro para el papel del escritor. Finalmente, relacionamos el último libro de poemas publicado por Azevedo con una de las películas de Godard, identificando procedimientos similares de superposición, citación y montaje.O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar as semelhanças entre as práticas do poeta Carlito Azevedo e as do cineasta Jean-Luc Godard, tentando assim inferir uma leitura que aproxime a montagem de um livro a de um filme. Tomando como referência os estudos da intertextualidade e da citacionalidade empreendidos por teóricos como Antoine Compagnon, traçamos três breves perfis de leitura, implicados nas operações citacionais dos dois autores: um que representa um tipo específico de leitor; um para a figura do montador de cinema; e um para a função do escritor.
