Literature and (in) discourse: Borges and the (sub) versions of the history

Resumo: This paper resumes the writings of Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), here analyzed from the perspective of the French Discourse Analysis theory, by Pêcheux and Orlandi. We focus on the work Fictions, and more specifically on two short stories present in it: Three Versions of Judas and Theme of the Traitor and the Hero. We are interested in investigating and understanding how the imagination works, according to the discursive perspective, especially in relation to the so-called official history. At the end of our research, we found books and history: both acting as subsidiaries of the aforementioned imagination and also of the formulation of the Argentine author.

Centramo-nos na obra Ficções, e mais especificamente em dois contos nela presentes: Três Versões de Judas e Tema do Traidor e do Herói. Interessa-nos investigar e compreender o modo de funcionamento do imaginário, segundo a perspectiva discursiva, em especial na relação com a história dita oficial.
