Resumo: This article aims to discuss the diversity of characters in the series 3%, also with the intention to extend the debate to diversity in Brazilian audiovisual. We start with a theoretical discussion on gender theories, queer theory and the analytical bias of intersectionality, both from a sociocultural point of view and from the perspective of power relations and subalternity. Then, we present an overview of the LGBT+ characters in the 3% series, in order to verify the representation of characters and their intersectionalities. Finally, we deepen the analysis of the character Joana, the only LGBT+ black protagonist of a Brazilian series produced by Netflix.

Comenzamos con un debate sobre las teorías de género, la teoría queer y el sesgo analítico de la interseccionalidad, tanto desde el punto de vista sociocultural como desde la perspectiva de las relaciones de poder y subalternidad. Luego, presentamos un panorama de los personajes LGBT+ de la serie 3%, con el fin de verificar la representación de los personajes y su interseccionalidad. Finalmente, profundizamos en el análisis del personaje Joana, la única protagonista LGBT+ y negra de una serie brasileña producida por Netflix hasta la recolección de datos para esta investigación.Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a diversidade de personagens da série 3%, com vias a estender o debate para a diversidade no audiovisual brasileiro. Iniciamos com uma discussão sobre teorias de gênero, teoria queer e o viés analítico da interseccionalidade, tanto do ponto de vista sociocultural quanto pela perspectiva das relações de poder e subalternidade. Em seguida, apresentamos um panorama das personagens LGBT+ na série 3%, a fim de verificar a representação de personagens e suas interseccionalidades.
