25 years of Brazilian thesis and dissertations about journalism on the internet

Resumo: This paper presents a quantitative panorama of the thesis and dissertations on journalism and technological transformations from 1995 to 2019. Using open data from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), the terms used in the titles and keywords were brought up with the intention to map trends, regularities and outdated designations in the scope of academic production. It is taken into account that the words enunciate theories and methodologies of studies on technological convergence and journalism. The data reveal characteristics in the use increasingly specific terms in research and a link between the emergence and popularization of technologies and the themes studied, demonstrating a certain enunciative movement.

A través de datos abiertos de Coordinación de Mejora de Personal de Nivel Superior (Capes), se plantearon los términos utilizados en títulos y palabras clave con la intención de mapear tendencias, regularidades y denominaciones desfasadas en el ámbito de la producción académica. Se tiene en cuenta que las palabras enuncian teorías y metodologías de estudios sobre convergencia tecnológica y periodismo. Los datos revelan características en el uso de términos cada vez más específicos y un vínculo entre el surgimiento y popularización de las tecnologías y los temas estudiados, demonstrando cierto movimiento enunciativo.Este artigo apresenta um panorama quantitativo das teses e dissertações sobre jornalismo e transformações tecnológicas entre 1995 e 2019. Através dos dados abertos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), foram levantados os termos utilizados nos títulos e palavras-chave com a intenção de mapear tendências, regularidades e designações superadas no âmbito da produção acadêmica. Leva-se em consideração que as palavras enunciam teorias e metodologias dos estudos sobre a convergência tecnológica e o jornalismo.
