Resumo: | The article presents a theoretical reflection on the relevance of black corporealities in educational environments to move the barriers imposed by the coloniality of knowledge. The perpetuation of this dynamic on these bodies has a direct impact on their access to and permanence in universities. Faced with this, they adopt strategies based on quilombola knowledge to circumvent the meritocratic system and heal the colonial trauma. Thus, the work discusses that even with affirmative action and the increased presence of racialized bodies, it is still necessary to overcome some Eurocentric standards that are intertwined with racism and hinder their full participation in the academic space. |
