But the vast majority of studies of residents' attitudes discussed the tourism sector as a whole, with few cases that focus on a particular type of supply. The aim of this paper is to analyze whether tourism products with worse or better rating. The main difference between the two surveys used is that effects of the economic crisis are expected in 2011. Residents consider that there is a set of very acceptable products (rural and nature tourism, nautical tourism, sports tourism, cultural tourism, conferences and fairs, sun and beach tourism, etc.), moderately acceptable products (houses to rent and seconds residences) and problematic products (golf, clubbers and all inclusive). The segment we see that most have very positive appraisals of raised bids (52.4%). This majority can be divided between supporters of the all inclusive (17%) and detractors (35.4%). There is a group with partisan positions but more moderate and opposed to the All Inclusive, golf courses and the clubber tourism (28%). |
