Trying methodologies for tourism management in indigenous areas

Resumo: This article wishes to contribute to the Indian tourism of Brazil. Certainly there exist a great number of studies on anthropology and other human sciences about Indians groups, but very few concerning the space management adequate to this kind of development. This subject is polemic owing the fact that some intellectuals prefer to preserve Indians from tourist contacts. By another hand, many Indian communities had opened their villages to tourism, but without enough “savoir faire”. Also, they have established some conventional Charts where this purpose is indorsed. As far as their experience is very weak on this kind of organization, this article-essay could represent a step to their considerations. Looking for this goal, we must first of all to consider how to shape the management of national parks and therefore how to adequate them to Indian spaces and tourists conveniences. This idea becomes even stronger when we remark that a great number of Indian communities are placed inside national parks: a case where we could probably to cluster them.

Hay sin duda una cantidad de estudios antropológicos y de otras ciencias humanas, pero casi nada que se refiera al manejo del espacio con vistas a este tipo de desarrollo. El tema es muy polémico debido a que algunos intelectuales han preferido resguardar a los indígenas de este tipo de contacto. Por otro lado, muchas comunidades indígenas abrieron sus puertas al turismo pero sin dominar el “savoir faire” receptivo. Aún más, muchas establecieron en Cartas de convenciones que tienen este deseo económico. Siendo que la experiencia de estas comunidades es muy pequeña en ese campo, este artículo representa una aproximación a sus intereses. Por lo tanto, antes fue preciso definir las reglas de manejo de un parque nacional para, en seguida, pensar en su adaptación a las superficies ocupadas por tribus y a la conveniencia de los turistas. Esto se justifica porque existen muchas comunidades localizadas dentro de parques nacionales, lo que puede permitir en algunos casos la posibilidad de reunir núcleos de turistas en un solo lugar.O presente artigo visa enriquecer a bibliografia sobre o turismo indígena. Certamente, existe uma indizível quantidade de estudos antropológicos e de outras ciências humanas, mas praticamente nada quanto ao manejo do espaço visando esse tipo de desenvolvimento. O tema é assaz polêmico em razão de alguns intelectuais preferirem resguardar os índios desse padrão de contacto. Em contrapartida, muitas comunidades indígenas já abriram suas portas ao turismo, mas sem dominar o “savoir-faire” receptivo. Mais ainda, muitas delas estabeleceram Cartas em convenção, expressando tal desejo econômico. Ora, na medida em que sua experiência é muito fraca nesse campo, o presente artigo-ensaio representa uma aproximação no interesse deles. Para tanto, foi antes preciso definir os termos de manejo de um parque nacional para, em seguida, pensar em sua adaptação às superfícies tribais e às conveniências do turista.
