Resumo: The article starts with general considerationsaround the History of women andthe gender approach in the history class,in the context of my teaching practice. Itdeals with the resignification of past experienceson the one hand, and reflects on aproject that renders the teaching actionmore complex, on the other. It does so bydescribing and analyzing a sequence of activitiesproposed to second year highschool students, aimed at the comparativeanalysis of the chronicle of Ulrico Schmidland the letter of Isabel de Guevara duringthe process of colonization of the Río de laPlata. Secondly, it reflects on the possibilitiesof incorporating, from said approach,some notable aspects of the experiences ofMencía Calderón and Sor Juana Inés de laCruz.

Lo hace, en primer lugar, describiendo y analizando una secuencia de actividades propuestas a los alumnos, buscando el análisis comparativo de la crónica de Ulrico Schmidl y la carta de Isabel de Guevara durante el proceso de colonización del Río de la Plata.
