Thematic History in High School: Analysis of Educational Practices on World War II and Holocaust in the Supervised Practice

Resumo: The text analyzes the teaching practices carried out in the Supervised Practice in History, of the Graduation Degree course. Organized in a Thematic History perspective, the practices are relat-ed to the Second World War and, in particular, to the Holocaust, especially for the main groups that were victims of Nazifascist persecution. The aim of the article is to analyze teaching practice, pointing out possibilities for it to be applied by other teachers. The text is based on studies on History Teaching, using the concepts of Thematic History, as well as studies on textbooks and historical sources in the classroom. The conclusions are partial, pointing out the possibility of using the practices analyzed by other teachers and highlighting the importance of reflection on the practice.

Inseridas em uma perspectiva de História Temática, as práticas estão relacionadas à Segunda Guerra Mundial e, em especial, ao Holocausto, atentando para os principais grupos vítimas da perseguição nazifascista. O objetivo do artigo consiste em analisar a prática de ensino, apontando possibilidades para que seja aplicada por outros professores. O texto fundamenta-se nos estudos sobre Ensino de História, recorrendo aos conceitos de História Temática, bem como a estudos sobre Livro Didático e Fontes Históricas em sala de aula.
