O presente artigo estuda a tradição sapiencial da Bíblia Hebraica em seu contexto mais amplo do antigo Oriente Próximo e concentra-se nos principais temas teológicos encontrados nas obras de sabedoria, bem como na forma literária em que foram transmitidas. Esta análise permite identificar aspectos em que a tradição sapiencial influenciou o movimento profético do antigo Israel, modelando a forma como alguns profetas produziram sua mensagem, bem como suas respostas teológicas povo de cada época. Em vez de serem antagônicos, sábios e profetas desenvolveram preocupações e discursos comuns.Palavras-chave: Tradição Sapiencial. Profetismo. Bíblia Hebraica. Antigo Oriente Próximo.Sages and prophets: The wisdom tradition’s influence on the prophetic movement of the Hebrew BibleABSTRACTThis paper studies the wisdom tradition of the Hebrew Bible in its wider context of the ancient Near East and focuses on the major theological themes found in wisdom’s books as well as in the literary form in which they were transmitted. This analysis allows us to identify aspects in which the wisdom tradition influenced the prophetic movement of ancient Israel, modeling how some prophets produced their message as well as their theological responses to people from every time. Rather than being antagonistic, sages and prophets developed common concerns and discourses.Key-words: Wisdom tradition. Prophetic movement. Hebrew Bible. Ancient Near East.
