Resumo: The traumatic and non-traumatic osteochondral lesions of the knee can be surgically repaired with osteochondral fragment fixation, and bioabsorbable materials have been facing a strong increase in their use for this purpose in recent years.  They have specific biomechanical and biological behavior after implantation, which depict normal and abnormal imaging findings on follow-up diagnostic imaging. This article will discuss these and other imaging findings, important to predict implant failure leading to poor evolution and associated complications.
