Resumo: This year, we celebrate the 85th anniversary of the first course in the field of food and nutrition in Brazil, the course “Food Assistants”, created by Francisco Pompêo do Amaral at the Superintendency of Professional Education of São Paulo, with the publication of the manuscript of the speech given by Pompêo do Amaral for being awarded the National Food Prize for his work “Food in São Paulo in the period of 1940 – 1951”, with the collaboration of dieticians, in the Food Research and Teaching Section of the School Food and Hygiene Service. The award was granted by the Social Security Food Service in 1954. The manuscript is in the personal archive of Debble Smaíra Pasotti, who kept the doctor's books, correspondence and reports throughout her life.

El premio fue otorgado por el Servicio de Alimentación de la Seguridad Social en 1954. El manuscrito se encuentra en el archivo personal de Debble Smaíra Pasotti, quien conservó los libros, la correspondencia y los informes del médico a lo largo de su vida.Cette année, nous célébrons le 85ème anniversaire du premier cours dans le domaine de l'alimentation et de la nutrition au Brésil, le cours « Assistants alimentaires », créé par Francisco Pompêo do Amaral à la Surintendance de la Formation Professionnelle de São Paulo, avec la publication du manuscrit du discours prononcé par Pompêo do Amaral pour l'attribution du Prix National de l'Alimentation pour son travail « L'alimentation à São Paulo dans la période 1940 – 1951 », avec la collaboration de diététiciens, dans la Section de Recherche et d'Enseignement Alimentaire de l'Alimentation Scolaire et service d'hygiène. Le prix a été décerné par le Service Alimentaire de la Sécurité Sociale en 1954. Le manuscrit se trouve dans les archives personnelles de Debble Smaíra Pasotti, qui a conservé les livres, la correspondance et les rapports du médecin tout au long de sa vie.Neste ano, comemoram-se os 85 anos do primeiro curso no campo da alimentação e nutrição no Brasil, o curso “Auxiliares em Alimentação”, criado por Francisco Pompêo do Amaral na Superintendência do Ensino Profissional de São Paulo, com a divulgação do manuscrito do discurso proferido por Pompêo do Amaral por ter sido agraciado com o Prêmio Nacional de Alimentação pela obra de sua autoria “A Alimentação em São Paulo no período de 1940 – 1951”, com a colaboração de dietistas, na Secção de Pesquisa e Ensino da Alimentação do Serviço de Alimentação e Higiene Escolar. O prêmio foi conferido pelo Serviço de Alimentação da Previdência Social, em 1954.
