Resumo: The Spanish films of Francoism (1939-1975) that take place at the University are scarce and are usually framed in comedy, especially in the 1960s. However, the first one belongs to film noir and melodrama, and contains features of the Italian neorrealism: Death of a Cyclist (Juan Antonio Bardem, 1955). This film is starred by an university profesor and reflects the type of hegemonic profesor at that time, the role of the women in the classroom or the aspirations of students in the political, social and ideological context of the regime. With the aim of reflecting on the films of this period centered on the University, and to adress those of the 1950s, the main characters of this film are analyzed as a person and as a role, acoording to Casseti and Di Chio. Thus it is intended to delimit the prototypes of characters linked to the Spanish university of these years.

Sin embargo, la primera de ellas pertenece al cine negro y al melodrama, y contiene rasgos del neorrealismo italiano: Muerte de un ciclista (Juan Antonio Bardem, 1955). Este filme está protagonizado por un profesor universitario y refleja el modelo de docente imperante en la época, el rol de la mujer en el aula o las aspiraciones del alumnado en el contexto político, social e ideológico del régimen. Con el objetivo de reflexionar sobre las películas de este periodo centradas en la Universidad, y abordar las de los años 50, se analizan los personajes principales de este filme como persona y como rol, según Casetti y Di Chio. Así, se pretende delimitar los prototipos de personajes ligados a la universidad española de estos años.Os filmes espanhóis do franquismo (1939-1975), que ocurrem na Universidade, são escassos e generalmente são enquadrados em comédias, especialmente na década de 1960. No entanto, o primeiro deles pertence ao cinema noir e ao melodrama, e contém traços de o neorrealismo italiano: Morte de um ciclista (Juan Antonio Bardem, 1955). Este filme é estrelado por um professor universitário e reflete o modelo de professor predominante na época, o papel das mulheres na sala de aula ou as aspiraçoes dos alunos no contexto político, social e ideológico do regime. Com o objetivo de refletir aobre os filmes desse período centrado na Universidade, e abordar os da década de 1950, os personagens principais do filme são analisados como pessoa e como rol, de acordo com Casetti e Di Chio.
