Resumo: This article seeks to address the creation of the Faculty of Education of USP in 1970, having as narrative thread the memorialistic material produced by the author. From that point on, it aims to contextualize the emancipation of the Faculty of Education from its original mold, the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Languages of USP. Having as background the political process experienced by the University in the years preceding and following the University Reform of 1968, it discusses the internal repercussions of the Department of Education and the Faculty of Education, related to the return of the College of Application to the public system, as well as to the emptying of the Regional Center of Educational Research of São Paulo from 1970 on.

A partir de ahí, pretende contextualizar la emancipación de la Facultad de Educación de la matriz original, la Facultad de Filosofía, Ciencias y Letras de la USP. En el contexto del proceso político vivido por la Universidad en los años que precedieron y siguieron a la Reforma Universitaria de 1968, se discuten las repercusiones internas del Departamento de Educación y de la Facultad de Educación, relacionadas con el retorno de la Escuela de Aplicación a el sistema de educación pública, así como el vaciando del Centro Regional de Investigaciones Educativas de São Paulo a partir de 1970.Cet article porte sur la création de la Faculté d’Éducation de l'USP en 1970, à partir de matériel mémoriel de l'autrice.  Il cherche à mettre en contexte l’émancipation de la Faculté d’Éducation à l'égard de la Faculté de Philosophie, Sciences et Lettres de l'USP, dont elle était auparavant un département. Il en tisse la toile de fond représentée par les évènements politiques qui ont précédé la Réforme Universitaire de 1968. Comme répercussions de ceux-ci il met en relief le transfert du collège d'Application au système public d'enseignement et la dissolution du Centre Régional de Recherches Éducationnelles de São Paulo à partir de 1970.  Este artigo procura contemplar a criação da Faculdade de Educação da USP em 1970, tendo como fio narrativo material memorialístico produzido pela autora.  A partir daí, objetiva contextualizar a emancipação da Faculdade de Educação da matriz original, a Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras da USP.
