Science and Art During COVID-19 Pandemic: Virtual Meetings of CAIS Program – ArtScience, Innovation and Health

Global changes took place as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, recognized in March 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO). Society and educational institutions had to adapt to the "new normal" and began to immerse in the remote work. Consequently, following the protocol of social distancing, many projects, researches and study groups needed to join the virtual meetings, investing in Information and Communication Technologies. The aim of this study is to describe the remote experiences carried out throughout 2020 by the CAIS Program – ArtScience, Innovation and Health. Throughout 2020, 23 virtual meetings were held, from May to December. The themes addressed in the meetings were diversified, such as: ArtScience in the pandemic, evaluation of creativity, network education, bodily health, Chagas express, non-violent communication and poetry meetings. The remote meetings showed us that the new social configuration made possible a greater strengthening of ties in the research group and a network of support and affection with science and art.
