O Antagonism between the right to existence and the new social security: greater allocation of women

This article aims to analyze in an exploratory way the incompatibility between the right to existence and women after EC 103/19, through a cross-sectional analytical study, with documentary analysis and bibliographic review, demonstrating based on statistical data that the new The social security model will have a negative impact on maintaining a dignified life for women, since social security benefits will become inaccessible and unattainable. Within the study, the social security rules originally foreseen in the 1988 Constitution will be presented, as well as the changes introduced by EC 103/2019. Statistical data related to the granting of social security benefits granted to women will also be demonstrated, as well as the minimum age for reaching these requirements, demonstrating how Constitutional Amendment 103/19 profoundly changed the retirement system of women in Brazil, directly interfering in their survival , since it changed the minimum age for accessing retirement from 60 years to 62 years; changed pension grant rules for death and accumulation of benefits, in addition to increasing the time and contribution to access the full benefit from 30 years to 35 years.
