The university social responsibility from the perspective of Sinaes: a case study in Medical School at the Federal University of Ceara - Sobral Campus

Resumo: | This paper aims to analyze the actions of social responsibility of the School of Medicine, at the Federal University of Ceara, at Sobral campus, in view of the System of National Assessment of Higher Education (SINAES). We performed a qualitative research from a literature survey and field research, with the theoretical philosophical propositions of Emmanuel Levinas, the ethics of radical alterity. The survey was conducted in the Medical School at the Federal University of Ceara at Sobral campus, using as data collecting instrument the application of semi-structured interviews conducted with the key people in the course. After analyzing the results, we realized that the ongoing investigation develops social activities that offer positive responses to the community around it, but there is still much to be done for the realization of their social responsibility. |

Se realizo una investigación cualitativa, a partir de un estudio bibliografico e investigación de campo, basado en proposiciones filosoficas de Emmanuel Levinas, la etica de la alteridad radical. La encuesta se realizo en el Curso de Medicina de la Universidad Federal de Ceara, en el campus de Sobral, y se utilizo como instrumento de recoleccion de datos la aplicacion de entrevistas semiestructuradas, realizadas con personas claves del curso. Despues de analizar los resultados, se observo que el curso estudiado desarrolla acciones sociales que ofrecen respuestas positivas a la comunidad de su alrededor, pero, sin embargo, aún queda mucho por hacer para la realizacion de su responsabilidad social. *Sistema Nacional de Evaluacion de Educacion Superior brasileña**Provincia del Noreste BrasileñoEste trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as acoes de responsabilidade social do Curso de Medicina da Universidade Federal do Ceara, em Sobral, na perspectiva do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior (Sinaes). Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, a partir de um levantamento bibliografico e uma pesquisa de campo, tendo como fundamentação teorica as proposicoes filosoficas de Emmanuel Levinas, a etica da alteridade radical. A pesquisa foi realizada no Curso de Medicina da Universidade Federal do Ceara no campus em Sobral, utilizando como instrumento de coleta de dados a aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com pessoas-chave do Curso. Apos a analise dos resultados, percebeu-se que o curso investigado desenvolve acoes sociais que oferecem respostas positivas à comunidade em seu entorno, porem ainda ha muito a ser feito para a concretização da sua responsabilidade social.
