Resumo: | The increase in pediculosis infestation during the last decades brings to the fore concern on the care, prevention and treatment of the disease. Teachers educate and try to improve the life quality of their students during their development phase. Frequently the parents are informed on the children’s conditions and are invited to analyze the children’s head for lice. However, many parents think that lice infestation is normal or do not have time to take care. In spite of the good education work of the teachers, their lack of knowledge and planning, especially the pedagogical director’s, is evident. A bimonthly planning is required and should involve not only pediculosis but also several other activities on hygiene in habits and on the premises. A card may be suggested for this purpose. Current research tries to inform the most frequent parasitosis extant in schoolchildren in Brazil. |

ABSTRACT: The increase in lice infestation in recent decades has become worrisome and issues such as care, prevention and treatment are important. In its role teachers seek to educate and improve the quality of life of its students in addition to being present in its development phase. In most cases, parents are advised by tickets written notice requesting that they inspect the heads of children, but many parents find that the infestation is normal and / or do not have much time to care. Despite the good work of teachers, we still see a lack of knowledge and planning by the same as the direction of teaching, which makes us examine what is necessary to plan every two months involving not only the lice, but many other actions with respect hygiene habits, facilities, among other ways of planning, we suggest both as an idea for a book. This article aims to clarify doubts and educational way to inform the most frequent parasitosis in school age children in Brazil.
