Resumo: This study aims to verify the relation between functionality and self-perception of health (SPH) in elderly and long-lived people. It was made a secondary analysis of data from the Brazilian National Health Survey (NHS) from 2013. The linear regression was used to verify the possible correlation between SPH and functionality, which was assessed by the level of independence in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). 11.177 elderly people participated in the NHS.
