Resumo: The plantar fascite is a degenerative syndrome of the plantar fascia. It refers to the pain in the plantar medial tuberosity of the calcaneus. The baropodometria is used in the evaluation of the feet biomechanical dysfunctions, especially in controlling the distribution of plantar pressure. The study aimed to analyze the distribution of plantar pressure in individuals with plantar fascite and in individuals with no involvement in inferior limb, using the evaluation of baropodometria. The study population consisted of 20 volunteers from the age group between 35 and 50 years, with 10 women in each group - with plantar fascite (GF) and control (CG). The evaluation was performed by pressure means on the platform of bipedal position with open eyes. The variables in the right and left feet were: peak pressure in the forefoot (PA) and hindfoot (PR), average pressure front and back parts of the foot; maximum average pressure of the foot (PMM) and width of the base (LB). RESULTS: In both groups the average pressure of the anterior region of the foot was greater than the posterior. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) between groups in the peak pressure in the forefoot and hindfoot. For average and average maximum pressure it was found that the GF showed values higher than the CG (p
