Resumo: Introduction: In the world, the number of elderly people has increased significantly, since aging is a natural physiological process, the consequences are progressive functional losses, and the physical educator is fundamental for the elderly to have a better level of physical fitness. Objective: The objective of this study was to verify the level of physical fitness among the elderly women trained at the Atp Personal Training training center in Brasilia, in order to generate more results, working efficiently. Material and methods: The sample consisted of 22 female elderly women aged 60 to 70 years (G1) and the G2 group of 70 to 79 years old, who practiced physical activities in functional training. Results and discussion: The main finding of the present study was that there was no significant difference in the flexibility test and BMI between the group (G1) and the group (G2). It was observed that the group (G1) had a better range of motion of 61.5cm compared to the group (G2) that was 56.36 cm. The same happened with the comparison of the group (G1) and (G2) in relation to the agility test, which obtained a mean time of 27.7 seconds in relation to the group (G2) 33 seconds, however having a significant difference. In the 5 resistance test, there was no significant difference between groups. Final Considerations: It is concluded that the tests is an additional resource for the physical education teacher to work with the elderly, making the training prescription more effective for improving their physical abilities and improving the motivational aspect, verifying what each One needs to be worked with more specificity, and can carry out varied studies from the results of their classifications.

Objetivo: O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar o nível de aptidão física nos idosos do sexo feminino treinadas no centro de treinamento integrado Atp Personal Training em Brasília, para poder gerar mais resultados, trabalhando com eficiência. Material e Métodos: A amostra foi constituída por 22 idosas do sexo feminino, com idade entre 60 a 70 anos grupo (G1) e o grupo (G2) de 70 a 79 anos, praticantes de atividades físicas em treinamento funcional foi verificado o Índice de Massa Corporal (IMC) e foram aplicados os testes da Bateria da AAHPERD em setembro de 2016. Resultados e discussão: O principal achado do presente estudo foi que não houve diferença significativa no teste de flexibilidade e IMC entre o grupo (G1) e o grupo (G2). Observa-se que o grupo (G1) teve uma melhor amplitude de movimento de 61,5cm comparando com o grupo (G2) que foi 56,36 cm. O mesmo aconteceu com a comparação do grupo (G1) e (G2) em relação ao teste de agilidade, que obteve um tempo com média de 27,7 segundos em relação ao grupo (G2) 33 segundos, porém tendo uma diferença significativa. Já no teste de resistência não houve diferença significativa entre os grupos.
