Resumo: | The present work is an inquiry of the construction of the directions of the verb "to give" in fragments of the folowing songs: Se, of Djavan; Garganta, of Ana Carolina; Aquarela, of Toquinho; Geni and the Zepelim and Partido alto, of Chico Buarque. The general objective of the work is to analyze the use of the verb "to give" in different linguistic contexts considering it under the prism of the polisemy, of the construction of the directions for the subject in each linguistic context, and of the history of the language. This work does not intend to exhaust the subject of the polisemy of the verb "to give", but to show that the possibilities of construction of the directions of this verb vary with the context and the reader. The five chosen songs and the reading made by the ten research subjects can supply the reader with a sample of the polisemic character of this verb. From there it can be perceived that polisemy is much more present in the language than it is costumarily assumed. The language as a whole is intrinsicly polisemic, if you consider that there might be several different readings for one text alone, considering the conditions of speech production: who reads, when it is read, how it is read, why it is read, in which circumstances it is read, and many other factors that interfere with the construction of the directions. The process of construction and reconstruction of the directions permeates the text ideology: author and reader interact ideologically with the text, establishing meanings that can flow together, depending on the context, the history of each one and the history of the language. The excerpt "Diz que deu, diz que dá, diz que Deus dará" can, if linked with the theory of the speech, be interpreted as if speaking of the language itself: there are numerous possible directions for a text; nevertheless, nobody knows where they will go. |

Submitted by Camila Loscha (camila.loscha@uniceub.br) on 2017-05-30T19:44:40Z No. of bitstreams: 1 50003689.pdf: 241227 bytes, checksum: 3309ca8c8e99eebbc102ddc2614503bd (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Matheus Carreiro (matheus.carreiro@uniceub.br) on 2017-05-30T20:21:22Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 50003689.pdf: 241227 bytes, checksum: 3309ca8c8e99eebbc102ddc2614503bd (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2017-05-30T20:21:22Z (GMT).
