Resumo: | Objective: The article intends to demonstrate how a certain type of rationalism, by promoting indifference to the complexity of the human condition and contempt for more integrative epistemological possibilities, can induce a moral habituation capable of ethically desensitizing the human being in the face of phenomena that offend existence from the other. Methodology: The methodological approach adopted uses the rhetorical philosophy applied to the literature review through the hypothetical-deductive method. Starting from texts by different authors and purposes, the article develops useful strategic rhetoric to criticize certain ways of dealing with phenomena that constitute material reality, highlighting its naturalized incompleteness. Results: The development of the work allowed to organize concepts and ideas demonstrating the effective moral agnosia produced by ways of thinking that remove the affections from the relevant phenomena in human interactions, whether between humans or between humans and the environment. From this argumentative organization, it was possible to criticize, based on the theoretical references used, the epistemological reduction caused by rationalism, a phenomenon that is at the origin of the ethics of the explicit. Contributions: The conceptualization of this modality of ethical expression allows to introduce, in the debate on moral issues dear to law and politics, reflections on the desensitization of rational thought, an occurrence that ends up creating cultures that are refractory to alterity and compassionate reason, only being sensitized in the face of the explicitness of its negative effects. |

Methodology: The methodological approach adopted uses the rhetorical philosophy applied to the literature review through the hypothetical-deductive method. Instituto para o Desenvolvimento da Educacao (Centro Universitário Christus - Unichristus)2024-02-12info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigoapplication/pdftext/xmlhttps://periodicos.unichristus.edu.br/opiniaojuridica/article/view/451110.12662/2447-6641oj.v22i39.p1-34.2024Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza); Vol. 22 No. 39 (2024): Em aberto; 1-34Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza); Vol. 22 Núm. 39 (2024): Em aberto; 1-34Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza); Vol. 22 No 39 (2024): Em aberto; 1-34Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza); v. 22 n. 39 (2024): Em aberto; 1-342447-66411806-042010.12662/2447-6641oj.v22i39.2024reponame:Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza)instname:Centro Universitário Christus (Unichristus)instacron:UNICHRISTUSporhttps://periodicos.unichristus.edu.br/opiniaojuridica/article/view/4511/1863https://periodicos.unichristus.edu.br/opiniaojuridica/article/view/4511/1874Copyright (c) 2023 Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPereira, Caleb SalomãoAdeodato, João Maurício2024-03-20T11:10:04Zoai:ojs.emnuvens.com.br:article/4511Revistahttps://periodicos.unichristus.edu.br/opiniaojuridicaPRIhttps://periodicos.unichristus.edu.br/opiniaojuridica/oaiopiniaojuridica01@unichristus.edu.br || secretaria.oj@unichristus.edu.br2447-66411806-0420opendoar:2024-03-20T11:10:04Revista Opinião Jurídica (Fortaleza) - Centro Universitário Christus (Unichristus)false |
