THE NEW TOURIST SCENARIOS: INNOVATION, PLANNING AND MEGATENDENCES

Resumo: The search for innovation has been the main challenge in the various segments of the economy and especially in tourism, which, through the most demanding demands, needs to be constantly evolving. Thus, it is necessary to understand that thinking tourism planning in this century of intense changes requires a new look at the issues of innovation and competitiveness. The focus is on the perception of megatrends as the first step to trace the likely and desired scenarios in a given activity, facilitating the construction of strategies, and structuring, synergistic and effective public policies. Thus, this article is based on the theoretical interconnections that traces in a direct way the conceptions of innovation, planning and the megatrends in the tourism with emphasis in the technological tendency. In this sense, it was sought through the bibliographic analysis to present the main trends and how they have transformed the way of offering tourism to the demands, aiming at an analysis of how these paradigms influence the planning and management of tourist destinations. In order to reach the proposed objective, three specific objectives were developed in three chapters, correlating the main themes, since it has been a primordial discourse to the managers of Tourism, who need to think globally to act and innovate locally.

Assim, é necessário compreender que pensar o planejamento turístico neste século de intensas mudanças, requer um novo olhar para as questões de inovação e competitividade. O foco, é a percepção das megatendências como primeiro passo para traçar os cenários prováveis e desejados em uma determinada atividade, facilitando a construção de estratégias e de políticas públicas estruturantes, sinérgicas e eficazes. Dessa forma, esse artigo baseia-se nas interconexões teóricas que traça de maneira direta as concepções de inovação, planejamento e as megatendências no turismo com ênfase na tendência tecnológica. Nesse sentido, buscou-se através da análise bibliográfica apresentar quais as principais tendências e como elas tem transformado a maneira de ofertar o turismo para as demandas, objetivando uma análise de como esses paradigmas influenciam no planejamento e gestão dos destinos turísticos.
