A STUDY ON BLACK CHILDREN EDUCATION IN PELOTAS IN THE POST-ABOLITION

Resumo: | This research aims to analyze the education of blacks in the post-abolition period. Especially, approaching how the insertion of black children happened in Brazilian public schools. To perform this research, a qualitative approach was used, based on bibliographic research. Since the formation of Brazil, which dates from the colonial period, Brazilian population has a high number of black individuals, many were brought from Africa to work in the country as slaves. In Brazilian territory, the slavery regime occurred in different regions, for example in the city of Pelotas. The education of black children in Brazil and in the Pelotense municipality was performed mainly in order to train workers for the labor market, many suffered various types of violence, including physical assaults. However, even with such adversities, black population never stopped fighting for their rights, among them the education. |

Especialmente, para abordar como los ninõs negros ingresaron a las escuelas públicas brasileñas. Para la realización de esta investigación se utilizo um enfoque cualitativo, basado em la investigación bibliográfica. Desde la formación de Brasil, que data del período colonial, la población brasileña há tenido um alto número de individuos negros, muchos de los cuales fueron traídos de África, para trabajar em el país como esclavos. En el territorio brasileño, régimen esclavista se desarrolló em diferentes regiones, por ejemplo en la ciudad de Pelotas. La educación de los ninõs negros en Brasil y en el municipio de Pelotas, se llevó a cabo principalmente con el fin de capacitar a los trabajadores para el mercado laboral, muchos sufrieron diversos tipos de violencia, entre ellos, agresión física. Sin embargo, incluso con tales adversidades, la población negra nunca dejó de luchar por sus derechos, entre ellos, la educación. Esta pesquisa tem como finalidade analisar a educação dos negros no período pós-abolição. Especialmente, abordar como aconteceu a inserção das crianças negras na escola pública brasileira. Para a realização desta pesquisa utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica. Desde a formação do Brasil, que data do período colonial, a população brasileira conta com um elevado número de indivíduos negros, muitos foram trazidos da África, para trabalharem no país como escravizados. No território brasileiro, o regime escravocrata ocorreu em diferentes regiões, em exemplo na cidade de Pelotas. A educação das crianças negras no Brasil e no município pelotense, foi realizada principalmente no intuito de formar trabalhadores para o mercado de trabalho, muitos sofriam vários tipos de violência, dentre elas, agressões físicas. Porém, mesmo com tais adversidades, a população negra nunca deixou de lutar pelos seus direitos, dentre eles, a educação.
