Resumo: This article aims to discuss the black identitys representations that are forged by young musicians in Bagé's street carnival. Within the black territories where carnival practices are undertaken, the participation of young people occurs through numerous musical experiences, ranging from the involvement with various types of instruments, as well as in the composition of sambas. Thus, it can be seen that the carnival period boosts and awake the participation of young people in the search for the construction of their identities. This work seeks to understand how musical spaces can be forged within the territories of the periphery and how the young people who live in these spaces construct their various identities, having carnival as an important period of socialization. Beyond the momesque period, these young people, because they belong to the black territories of Bagé, seek their identity constructions through lifestyles in which music is presented in a plural and diverse way.

Dentro de los territorios negros donde se realizan las prácticas de carnaval, la participación de los jóvenes tiene lugar mediante de numerosas experiencias musicales, que van desde la participación con diversos tipos de instrumentos, así como en la composición de sambas y sambas de enredo. Así, se observa que el periodo de carnaval potencia y aumenta la participación de los jóvenes en la búsqueda de la construcción de sus identidades. Este trabajo busca entender cómo se pueden forjar espacios musicales dentro de los territorios de la periferia y cómo los jóvenes que viven en estos espacios construyen sus diversas identidades, teniendo el carnaval como un importante período de socialización. Más allá del periodo momesco, estos jóvenes, al pertenecer a los territorios negros de Bagé, buscan construir sus identidades mediante de estilos de vida en los que la música se presenta de forma plural y diversa.Cet article vise à discuter des représentations des identités noires  forgées par les jeunes musiciens dans le carnaval de rue de Bagé. Dans les territoires noirs où se déroulent les pratiques carnavalesques, la participation des jeunes se traduit par de nombreuses expériences musicales, allant de l'utilisation de divers types d'instruments à la composition de sambas et de sambas de enredo. Ainsi, on constate que la période du carnaval stimule et renforce la participation des jeunes dans la recherche de la construction de leurs identités. Ce travail cherche à comprendre comment des espaces musicaux peuvent être forgés dans les territoires de la périphérie et comment les jeunes qui vivent dans ces espaces construisent leurs différentes identités, le carnaval étant une période importante de socialisation. Au-delà de la période momesco, ces jeunes, en tant qu'ils appartiennent aux territoires noirs de Bagé, cherchent à construire leurs identités à travers des modes de vie dans lesquels la musique est présentée de manière plurielle et diverse.Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir acerca das representações identitárias negras que são forjadas por jovens músicos no carnaval de rua de Bagé. Dentro dos territórios negros onde as práticas carnavalescas são empreendidas, a participação de jovens se dá por inúmeras experiencias musicais, que vão desde o envolvimento com diversos tipos de instrumentos, bem como na composição de sambas e sambas de enredo. Com isto, percebe-se que o período carnavalesco impulsiona e potencializa a participação de jovens na busca pela construção de suas identidades. Este trabalho busca entender como os espaços musicais podem ser forjados dentro dos territórios de periferia e de como os jovens que vivem nestes espaços constroem suas variadas identidades, tendo no carnaval um período importante de socialização.
