Resumo: The dynamics of the approach highlights the roots of Umbanda, a Brazilian tradition characterized by an intense movement of junction, performances and hybridisms, which is a constant target of religious intolerance. In an approximation with the assemblages of meanings about the problem, narratives of an Umbanda priest highlight experiences and resilience of affirmation and appreciation of religious belonging. Int the midst of the challenges of an excluding and discriminatory society, his words corroborate the articulated theoretical faundatio, suggesting reflections on African matrix csmologies.
