Resumo: This bibliographic research presents a concrete experience on how social movements influence the transformation of law and the access to justice in Brazil. This research has three goals: to examine the dominant model of scientificity in the Western world over the last two centuries; to present a critique to the concept law; and to analise how the Brazilian national movement against AIDS guarantees access to justice to people with HIV/AIDS.
