Resumo: RESUMO: O presente artigo traz uma reflexão sobre a proteção jurídica oferecida aos trabalhadores migrantes, inclusive àqueles que se encontram em situação irregular, quanto aos seus direitos sociais, em especial o direito humano ao trabalho. A partir do levantamento das normativas nacional brasileira e internacional, no âmbito da ONU, da OIT e da OEA correlatas ao tema, e da análise da relação dialógica entre essas fontes jurídicas, faz-se uma breve consideração sobre a governança migratória, enquanto um possível caminho a ser trilhado na busca pela efetividade social dos direitos desse grupo vulnerável.
