Resumo: Contemporary society is faced to the immediacy, fluidity, liquidity and ephemerality of the information provided through the internet and online services. Technologies such as social networks and cloud computing are analyzed, allowing verify the data and digital information are economically gaugeable heritage to its originator and assets that can be transmitted and shared by the heirs upon the death of that, especially as opposed to contractual clauses of the products and services online. The paper is the result of research project and follows deductive method with explanatory character and going through the stages of exploratory and descriptive research.

Tecnologias como redes sociais e computação em nuvem são analisadas, possibilitando verificar se os dados e informações  digitais  constituem-se  em  patrimônio  economicamente  aferível  ao  seu originador e espólio passível de ser transmitido e partilhado pelos herdeiros quando do falecimento daquele, especialmente em contraposição às cláusulas contratuais de produtos e serviços online.
