Resumo: The text contextualizes the implementation of the municipal multieducation of Rio de Janeiro, in the period 1993/2001, and analyzes their impacts and consequences. Also, it attempts to relate such public administrations to neoliberal ideology, seeking to demonstrate the presence of such ideals in the educational proposal implemented. Finally, the author relates the abandonment of the teaching Multieducation resistance to some of its assumptions.
