Resumo: | This paper presents a practice of teaching, whose purpose was to make students of high school capable of understanding the issues upon the dictatorship as a theme in the teaching of history. Considering the importance of practice as a tool which makes up a learning path, the activity has involved debate, survey and statistical analysis. It is worth highlighting the engagement of students in this activity and mapping of their opinions about the dictatorship. |

Este texto apresenta uma prática pedagógica, cujo objetivo era envolver a participação dos alunos na compreensão da problemática em torno do tema “Ditadura”, na disciplina de História. Encaro a prática como uma estratégia de ensino considerando-a como uma ferramenta que compõe um caminho de aprendizagem. A atividade envolveu debate, pesquisa de opinião e análise estatística sobre o tema Ditadura. Como resultado, houve grande envolvimento dos estudantes, e o mapeamento da opinião de jovens sobre a Ditadura.
