Resumo: ABSTRACT: This article aims to identify how nursing care provided to users with mental disorders should be performed. For this, an integrative review of the scientific literature was carried out through the Latin American Literature (LILACS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Nursing Database (BDEnf) databases. Were analyzed six articles, covering the period from 2017 to 2019, using the descriptors in health: nursing, mental health and patient care team. The results were obtained through two categories: multiprofessional team and matrix support and indicated the importance of nursing inserted in the two categories, where the development of an integrated work for guidance on the appropriate assistance for each user and the matrix support as a construction process shared knowledge to broaden and qualify actions in the care of patients with mental disorders. It is concluded that nursing care is performed through an integrated work to build a common goal that is the well-being of the user.

Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura científica, através das bases de dados Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) e Base de Dados Enfermagem (BDEnf). Foram analisados seis artigos, referente ao período de 2017 a 2019, utilizando os descritores em saúde: enfermagem, saúde mental e equipe de assistência ao paciente. Os resultados foram obtidos através de duas categorias: equipe multiprofissional e apoio matricial e indicaram a importância da enfermagem inserida nas duas categorias, onde ocorre o desenvolvimento de um trabalho integrado para orientação sobre a assistência adequada para cada usuário e o apoio matricial como processo de construção compartilhada de saberes para ampliar e qualificar as ações na assistência ao paciente com transtorno mental.
