The supervised curricular internship in Veterinary Medicine (SCIVM), a mandatory curricular component, gives the graduating student the opportunity to carry out practical activities related to professional practice. In this way, the SCIVM allows the student to apply theoretical knowledge acquired during graduation and to interact with the community in which he is inserted. In the present work, the SCIVM was carried out from March 7 to May 30, 2022, at the Clínica Veterinária Bem Estar Animal, located in the city of Taquara, Rio Grande do Sul. The internship aimed to experience the professional routine of the veterinarian who works in the areas of clinic and surgery of small animals. In this context, the academic developed several activities, such as monitoring clinical consultations, surgical procedures, monitoring hospitalized patients, collecting samples for laboratory tests and assisting in performing imaging tests, such as radiography and ultrasound. During the internship period, several clinical cases were followed. Of these, three cases were selected to be reported, namely: Parvovirus in a Pitbull dog, Transmissible Vaginal Venereal Tumor in a SRD dog and Cystolithotomy in a SRD feline.
