Resumo: Autologous transplantation (auto-HSCT) is a graft harvested from the patient himself at a previous time to be reinfused after high-dose chemotherapy. Thus, the cells are frozen when they are used after 48 hours of collection or the material is made available for two transplants, thus, the use of substances to maintain the integrity of the cells for later handling is called cryopreservation. However, blood cells collected in an autologous transplant can survive about seven days just by being cooled to 4 ° C in a conventional refrigerator. And, due to the toxic effects of cryopreservatives and the high costs of their preservation, noncryopreservative grafts are alternatives to increase the availability and access of the autograft. This study aims to describe the autologous transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells without the use of cryopreservatives and the recovery of the human organism after the procedure, in addition to describing the autologous transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells without the use of cryopreservatives in health centers in underdeveloped and in development countries. This was a cross-sectional and quantitative study of the integrative literature review type, which will evaluate publications of the type clinical trial, retrospective studies, randomized and nonrandomized clinical trials and systematic literature review in the PUBMED and SCIELO databeses, published between the years 2000 to 2020, and that meet the inclusion criteria. Data collection will be carried out through an adaptation of the instrument proposed by Ursi. 62 articles were found containing the descriptors and methods of combination defined in the methodology. Thus, 12 articles were used for the construction of the present work, as they established an adequate relationship with the determined criteria. The few tests conducted so far show that the "spinal cord" occurs in approximately 2-3 weeks when the leukocyte count exceeds 500 leukocytes / mm³, requiring the support of antibiotic therapy and stimulating factors of defense cells. Thus, the maximum time given by the studies for the hospitalization of these patients was 21 days and with a minimum time of 4 days. In addition, the average time of neutrophils varied in general from 10 to 20 days, whereas for platelets it varied from 11 to 28 days. And observed reports of febrile neutropenia, mucositis and early deaths in less than half of the patients. In addition, the amounts spent by the government to carry out an autologous transplant ranged from $ 8,528 to $ 20,000, with the cost of each storage using cryopreservatives an average of $ 700. studies on the subject, that non-cryopreserved grafts appear to be effective, not harmful to the human organism and good alternatives for health centers in developing countries. However, as it is a more approached alternative for health centers with low resources, it is not yet a very evident theme in the scientific community, highlighting the need for more research on the subject.
