Resumo: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), leads to changes in our body that cause multisystem lesions, generating dysfunction, with evidence to suggest that endothelial injury mediated by SARS-COV-2 is an effector factor of the virus. These multisystemic lesions can generate multiple inflammatory responses, this being the host's defense mechanism in an attempt to eliminate the pathogen, this inflammatory response also occurs in the endothelium of the vessels in a significant way. In the course of this work, more will be presented about the disease in its vascular scope and its main vascular complications, because, as it is a disease that has reached the population worldwide and so quickly, it is necessary to discuss more about this topic sorelevant for the improvement management for these patients. The objective is to identify the main vascular complications in patients with COVID-19. The present work is an integrative literature review study, which will evaluate clinical trial publications, systematic literature review and clinical practice guides indexed in the SciELO, Pubmed and Uptodate databases, published between the years 2019 to 2021, and that meet the inclusion criteria. Data collection will be carried out through an adaptation of the instrument proposed by Ursi, which will address the following items: Identification of the original article, methodological characteristics of the study, evaluation of the interventions carried out and the results. Data analysis and synthesis was performed by adapting an instrument proposed by Ursi, which includes the following aspects: Research name; study design; methodological detailing; sample detailing; intervention employed; results; recommendations / conclusions. The results found show that the viral infection is usually self-limited and benign, however, some patients progress to the severe form of the disease, resulting in a hyperactivation of the immune system, generating hyperinflammation and hypercoability, which can generate venous and arterial thrombosis, as well as Multiple organ failure in patients with the severe form of COVID. It is concluded that these patients have a hyperactivation of the immune system, and that a group of patients is predisposed to a hyperinflammatory state. In addition, it was observed that these patients have a state of hypercoability that is not fully understood, requiring further studies to understand this.
