The American intervention in Afghanistan took place after the attacks of September 11, 2001. With that, the American government acted in order to end Al-Qaeda and the Taliban regime and, as of October of the same year, troops were sent to Afghanistan. During the first months, the Taliban government was removed and in 2002, a stabilization process began in Afghanistan, since for the past two decades the country was marked by numerous conflicts that did not allow it for a government to develop. Therefore, the objective of this project is to analyze how the twenty years of US intervention were ineffective, by making a retrospective of the hstory of Afghanistan, showing its complexity and the lack of results of the invasion itself.
