Resumo: This article aims to present a literature review within the academic production on studies on peace, negative peace and war, seeking to analyze the conflict between Korea and contextualizing the end of war and the suspension of hostilities between the sides involved, highlighting that even at the end of the war, the climate of tension between the two Korean nations still persists. So without a guarantee of peace continues. The object of this study, through the observation of the conflict between South and North Korea, is to introduce the use of negative peace as a way to contain the conflict, using peacekeeping as a resource, in order to ensure that it is maintained and developed conditions of negative peace in the region. Concluding that, through this case study, we can express the idea that the negative peace appears as the best result found for the clash between the two Korean nations.

Concluding that, through this case study, we can express the idea that the negative peace appears as the best result found for the clash between the two Korean nations.O presente artigo visa apresentar uma revisão bibliográfica dentro da produção acadêmica acerca dos estudos sobre a paz, paz negativa e guerra, buscando analisar o conflito entre as coreias e contextualizando o fim da guerra e a suspensão das hostilidades entre os lados envolvidos, destacando-se que mesmo ao término da guerra, mantem-se ainda o clima de tensão entre as duas nações coreanas. Assim sem uma garantia de uma paz continua. O objeto deste estudo, por meio da observação do conflito entre a Coreia do Sul e Norte é introduzir a utilização da paz negativa como forma de conter o conflito, utilizando-se como recurso o peacekeeping, de forma a se assegurar que se mantenha e desenvolva condições de uma paz negativa na região.
