A gramática e a língua viva na perspectiva de Bakhtin: o ensino de orações coordenadas e subordinadas

Resumo: | The teaching of syntactic analysis has long provoked an aversion to Portuguese language classes, which are often based only on traditional grammars. The studies and reflections of Mikhail M. Bakhtin (2013) shed new light on the problem, because, for the author, the study of syntax without the stylistic approach does not enrich the language of the students. It is important to remember that Bakhtin's concept of style differs from traditional conception. Still, the Russian philosopher assures that stylistics has great collaboration to give the teachers in their pedagogical work of teaching grammar. In the book Stylistic Issues in Language Teaching (2013), Bakhtin presents a method that focuses on rewriting subordinate clauses without conjunctions, modifying them into subordinates with conjunctions, showing students that in subordinates without conjunctions there is greater expressiveness and dramaticity in relation to subordinates with conjunctions. The purpose of this study is to understand Bakhtin's lessons as a teacher and to see how we can put them into practice in elementary school in order to lead students to glimpse other aspects of language use beyond normative grammar. The research was based on Bakhtin's studies on dialogism (2006, 2010), discourse genres (2016) and on the role of stylistics in native language classes (2013), as well as reflections on grammar types as normative de Cunha and Cintra (2016), the description by Perini (2016) and the internalized by Luft (1995). The analysis is qualitative, descriptively, through a field research, carried out in a private school, in the municipality of Itaú de Minas / MG, is composed of theoretical discussion, field research with a grammar teacher, writing proposal and analysis of the personal account produced by the students. The corpus was selected from personal reports produced by students in the writing class. The analysis of the texts was based on a personal account of some fact that occurred with them, when they were still very small, in order to see how and which expressive characteristics of the linguistic forms make up their texts. Then, through clippings of the unpunished compound periods found in the students' essay, we indicate the change in the unpunished coordination period by a conjunction period to evaluate the difference. The present work is justified by the importance that this practice adopted by the language philosopher may have in the daily life of the Portuguese Language teacher, because it makes the teaching of grammar more alive for the students. Research has shown that Bakhtinian stylistics can contribute to an active knowledge of the processes of living language and literary language. Keywords: Grammars and stylistics. Stylistics and expressive intonation.O ensino da análise sintática, há muito tempo, vem provocando nos alunos uma aversão às aulas de língua portuguesa que, muitas vezes, estão baseadas apenas nas gramáticas tradicionais. Os estudos e reflexões de Mikhail M. Bakhtin (2013) trouxeram nova luz ao problema, pois, para o autor, o estudo da sintaxe sem a abordagem estilística não enriquece a linguagem dos alunos. É importante lembrar que o conceito de estilo de Bakhtin difere da concepção tradicional. Ainda assim, o filósofo russo assegura que a estilística tem grande colaboração para dar ao professor no seu trabalho pedagógico de ensino de gramática. No livro Questões de estilística no ensino da língua (2013), Bakhtin apresenta um método que é centrado na reescrita das orações subordinadas sem conjunções, modificando-as em subordinadas com conjunções, mostrando aos estudantes que nas subordinadas sem conjunção há uma maior expressividade e dramaticidade em relação às subordinadas com conjunções. O objetivo deste estudo é compreender as lições de Bakhtin como professor e verificar como podemos colocá-las em prática no ensino fundamental, a fim de levar os alunos a vislumbrarem outros aspectos de uso da língua para além da gramática normativa. A pesquisa teve como fundamentação teórica os estudos de Bakhtin sobre dialogismo (2006, 2010), gêneros do discurso (2016) e sobre o papel da estilística nas aulas de língua materna (2013), além das reflexões sobre os tipos de gramática como a normativa de Cunha e Cintra (2016), a descritiva de Perini (2016) e a internalizada de Luft (1995). A análise é qualitativa, de modo descritivo, por meio de uma pesquisa de campo, realizada numa escola particular, no município de Itaú de Minas/MG, compõe-se de discussão teórica, pesquisa de campo com um professor de gramática, proposta de redação e análises do relato pessoal redigido pelos alunos. O corpus foi selecionado a partir de relatos pessoais produzidos pelos estudantes na aula de redação. A análise dos textos foi feita com base no relato pessoal sobre algum fato ocorrido com eles, quando eram ainda muito pequenos, a fim de constatar como e quais características de expressividade das formas linguísticas compõem os seus textos. Em seguida, por meio de recortes dos períodos compostos sem conjunção encontrados na redação dos alunos, indicamos a mudança no período composto por coordenação sem conjunção por um período com conjunção para que avaliássemos a diferença. O presente trabalho justifica-se pela importância que essa prática adotada pelo filósofo da linguagem poderá ter no dia a dia do professor de Língua Portuguesa, pelo fato de tornar o ensino de gramática mais vivo para os alunos. A pesquisa comprovou que a estilística bakhtiniana pode contribuir para um conhecimento ativo dos processos da língua viva e da língua literária. Palavras-chave: Gramáticas e estilística.
